It’s no secret that we love football in this town. While we have to wait a few more months to see the Colts take the field again, on April 13, UHQ Construction was proud to be a sponsor of the 2024 NFL Alumni Poker Tournament, helping to support the community.
The event was held by the Indianapolis Chapter of the National Football League Alumni, which is the most well-known and respected retired player organization in professional sports. The organization is made up of former NFL players, coaches, cheerleaders, front-office executives, spouses, and avid fans, and its mission involves “Caring for Our Own” by helping players in their post-NFL lives.
The tournament was a fun way for poker enthusiasts to engage with members of the Alumni group and raise money for the organization’s 501 c3 charity, Caring for Our Community. We’re proud to have been a sponsor of this year’s event, which has raised over $14,000 to date. While the poker tournament is over now, you can still support the cause by making an online donation.
